Nick and I (aka Unicyclist Ed Pratt's mum and dad) first met Alan and Eileen in December 2016 when Ed & Will were still on the road and had been cycling in Asia together. We arranged to drop by their house for tea and cake. They were very hospitable.

We had a connection with the 'boys' out on the road and had lots to talk about. They were great company. We had a lot of fun. Both were keen to wear the red super hero capes and gowns we brought with us and to be photographed as "Super Cycling parents" so we could send the images as a surprise to Will. We really enjoyed sharing stories about Ed & Will and laughed a lot.
