Dear Alan, 

I thought of you this weekend when I spotted that your beloved West Brom lost to Leicester at the weekend. Firstly I felt great sadness that you hadn't got to witness the Baggies return to the Premiership this summer. But given their exploits since maybe its just as well. And secondly it took me back some eight years to our impromptu trip to the Hawthorns in the September sun. A lovely day out and a happy memory of better days - on the health and footy front.
